universal studio

i want to warn you that today's trip is filled with heaps of photos in the universal studio. i just don't want to miss every bit of each moment.. so enjoy!

as usual, we fixed our breakfast at the hostel and caught 3 cabs to the nearest MRT station; Farrar Park. actually, it was not too far to walk but the rain hadn't stopped completely and we were afraid that our little people would catch a cold, so we took cabs. it took quite long to get 3 cabs but the ride was pretty short from the hostel to the station. we paid 4$ each for the whole ride..

we rode MRT from farrar park to habourfront station, walked into vivo city mall and took an escalator to the 3rd floor to ride an express tube into sentosa island..

though we picked monday to visit the universal studio, there were still quite a lot of people and we met some thais while buying tickets.. but the good thing was that they were enough ticket machines so we didn't need to wait on the long line at the counter..

we got off the express train at the first station and walked inside the studio.

we didn't need to worry about the tickets as we bought them online and printed them out before leaving home. so no worry that we wouldn't get in bc we had tickets in hands!!!.. as they limited the number of visitors each day, to be safe than sorry, you should book it online if you want to go there..

our first visit was the 4D theater. i highly recommend it. it was cute and fun!

next was jurassic park. as it started to rain again, we stopped by to have lunch at the foodcourt opposite the park. we sat there watching people and eating slowlyyyy.. at 12am sharp, people started to pour inside to eat and take refuge from the rain..

after the rain stopped, we walked out looking for things to see and play.

this roller coaster looked so tempting but i was too chicken to play.. didn't want to spoil my day with dizziness!

my brother and his wife wanted to walk around looking for something to ride but py refused to tag along with them. instead she decided to go snapping with me. so we took turn taking pictures of one another..

didn't remember the last time i rode the merry-go-round. so here i did it twice!!

then i walked into another theater showing movie effects. along the way up to the hall, there were line of movie posters and here are my faves..

there was a hat shop sitting on the corner of 5th avenue which we could grab any hats and had fun taking photos with them..

like i said, i had fun shooting here. load!

we went into another live show at waterworld.

this guy was way too cute and hot!! i kept looking at him while he was performing the show.. forgive me, i've been single for 2 months now and i need a hot guy for sight-savouring!!

out of the waterworld, we walked to find a place to sit and waited for the next show, madagasca..

when it's time for snack, we tried this... turkey drum stick.

..it's finally time to leave..

after madagascar show, around 6 pm. we proceeded to the exit to get back on the express train.

seeing that it was still light and the rain had stopped, we took the train further inside sentosa and got off at beach station. here, we took the next tram for a joy ride along the beach.. just to take a look around.

when the sun started to set, we hopped into the express train back to vivo mall, rode the mrt to farrar park station, got off at little india and walked to our fave restaurant.. then walked back to the hostel. reaching our room, i had a long hot shower and hopped into my bunk calling it a day..

(oh no! before hitting the sack, we had one big final work to do; packing!! -- i had not a problem with it as i packed light and shopped less.. so good night people!!)
